The Town of Banff is a busy town that draws over 5 million tourists per year, with the majority of visitors coming in the summer. With wildlife such as bears, elk and mountain goats, to snow covered mountains, raging rivers and turquoise lakes, Banff provides easy access to hiking, river rafting, mountain biking, climbing, camping and brilliant world class skiing and snowboarding.

Banff’s three ski areas, Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Mount Norquay offer the largest ski area in Canada.  Over 7,000 skiable acres of variable terrain and tons of snow keep us happy from early November through to late May.   There are several others resorts within a few hours that make for great road trip destinations, as well as Heli-Skiing and CatSkiing operators for those after the luxurious champagne powder and a trip of a lifetime.

Surrounded by the mountains, Banff is the ultimate sporting destination in both winter and summer yet the town also has much to offer; a huge selection of restaurants, shops, theatre, and the hopping nightlife in the bars and clubs on Banff Avenue.

A season in Banff will leave you with some truly unforgettable experiences.
