Over 7,000 acres of variable terrain and tons of snow keeps us happy from early November until the shorts and flip flops have been on the patios in town for months - late May. Nested in the incredible Canadian Rocky Mountains, with snow that continues to spoil skiers and boarders from early November to the end of May, Banff is the ultimate winter destination for snowboarding, skiing, skating, dog sledding, snowshoeing, ice fishing, climbing and more.
Banff continues to be a lively, energetic party town both winter and summer. As well there is theatre, shopping and the always hopping nightlife in the bars and clubs on Banff Avenue.
