Banff National Park, in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, covers 2500 square miles of breathtaking mountain scenery. It is the largest National Park in Canada, and is approximately one hour west of Calgary, in Alberta and spans across the border into British Columbia.

Banff’s three ski areas, Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Mount Norquay offer the largest ski area in Canada. Over 7,000 acres of variable terrain and tons of snow keep us happy from early November until the shorts and flip flops have been on the patios in town for months in late May. There are several other resorts within a few hours that also make for great road trip destinations, as well as Heliski and Catskiing operations in the back country for those that are after luxurious champagne powder.
Surrounded by the mountains, Banff is the ultimate winter destination for snowboarding, skiing, skating, dogsledding, and snowshoeing. As well there is theatre, shopping, and the always hopping nightlife in the bars and clubs on Banff Avenue.
